Why muscle matters for longevity
Strength and lean mass associate with mobility, fall resilience, metabolic health, and independence. Age-related muscle loss is common when training and protein fall — not an inevitable excuse to skip resistance work.
Training literacy
Progressive resistance 2–3+ days weekly (when cleared) beats random exhaustion. Walking is valuable; it does not fully replace lifting for hypertrophy/strength. Technique and joint-friendly progressions matter more than novelty machines.
Protein literacy
During energy deficit or GLP-1-related appetite drop, under-eating protein is common. Individual targets depend on body size, kidney disease, and clinician guidance. Plan protein first at meals.
NMN / energy pathway adjacency
NMN is taught as NAD+-pathway support education. It is not a stand-alone anti-catabolic drug and does not replace progressive overload.
Safety
Chest pain, uncontrolled hypertension, recent surgery, or injury need clinician clearance before aggressive training. Supplements do not fix those constraints.
