- Resveratrol is a multi-target polyphenol, not a pure single-key drug.
- Animal metabolic benefits do not automatically equal human lifespan extension.
- Human trials vary by dose, formulation, population and endpoint; many effects are modest or context-specific.

Research pillar 2 — NAD+ decline and mitochondrial communication
A 2013 Cell paper from Gomes, Sinclair and colleagues argued that declining NAD+ creates a pseudohypoxic state that disrupts nuclear–mitochondrial communication during aging in mice, with NAD+ restoration improving aspects of that axis.4
That paper is one reason “boost NAD+” stopped sounding like marketing poetry and started sounding like systems biology. It still does not prove that any capsule reverses human aging. Research pillar 3 — NMN as an NAD+ precursor

Human data are younger than the mouse literature, but they are no longer anecdotal:
