Why quality language matters
Longevity customers are buying trust: correct identity of the active, control of impurities, and manufacturing accountability. Adjectives on a package are not a certificate of analysis.
USP, EP, and JP in plain language
The United States Pharmacopeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP / Ph. Eur.), and Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP) are major compendia of quality standards. They matter in medicines and are often referenced in high-specification ingredient supply chains. Citing a pharmacopoeial concept is not the same as claiming a product is a licensed medicine.
A practical checklist
- Is the active clearly named?
- Are strength and serving transparent?
- Is there a coherent purity / contaminant story appropriate to the ingredient?
- Is manufacturing accountability clear?
- Do claims stay inside the dietary-supplement category?

Questions
Does “pharma grade” mean the product is a drug?
Not automatically. Legal category and documentation matter more than marketing adjectives.
